Ms. Sullinger, 6th Grade Counselor
Hello!
My name is Melissa Sullinger, and I am thrilled to be the new 6th grade counselor. I step into this role with enthusiasm and a commitment to making a positive impact. This will be my 7th year in education, I also have a background in special education. I enjoy empowering students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with students, families, and faculty at Horizon Intermediate. Outside of the school setting, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and furthering my education through the University of Oklahoma.
Mrs. Frederick, 5th Grade Counselor
Hello everyone!
My name is Courtney Frederick, and I am so excited to be the new 5th Grade Counselor at Horizon Intermediate! As a Mustang High School graduate, being back in my home district feels awesome. I am a proud alumna of the University of Central Oklahoma, where I received a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s in School Counseling. I have worked in education for several years, but this will be my 5th year as a counselor. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching corny reality T.V. shows, and crafting, such as painting kindness rocks to hide. I also love family movie nights with my husband, two children, and our frenchies.
