I am excited to enter into my first year as the Head Principal at Horizon!!

Before coming to Horizon, I spent seven years as the 8th Grade Principal at Mustang North Middle School. Before that, I spent nine years teaching at Mustang Middle School.  Way before that, I am proud to have graduated from Mustang High School in 2000.

My amazing wife of 17 years, Amy, also serves within Mustang Public Schools as the Director of Federal Programs. We have three sons—Jack (16), Eli (12), and Kasen (8)—who all attend Mustang schools.  As both an educator and a parent, I am thankful that I can say my entire career has been in Mustang Public Schools.  This is HOME! 

I graduated from Southern Nazarene in 2004 and received a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2018.

I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for every student, where they feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve a better tomorrow.

I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to do what I do on a daily basis…  Let’s go!!!

My name is Jennifer Meacham, and I’m the Assistant Principal at MHI!

I look forward to getting to know each of you, as well as all the amazing things we will experience and accomplish this upcoming school year!

I am a passionate educator grounded in the belief that all students deserve to have a school setting that is safe, inclusive, and respectful. School should allow children the opportunity to identify and develop their own skills and talents. I come to MHI with a deep commitment to fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. I will strive to build strong collaborative relationships with families and all stakeholders, as this is essential in students’ success!
